Angle Finding Gizmo Tool

Angle Finding Gizmo Tool version 2.1.0

The Angle Gizmo Tool will allow you to find angles and distances from a central tool to either or both of the two point objects. It will also give you the angle and distance between the two points. The settings can be customized to the user and/or the scene. The angle and distance information is delivered to the console in an easy-to-read format. And all of this is done WITHOUT the need for runtime!

 

The AFGT was originally created to help aim the laser turrets I created for the space game I am working on, and turned into something bigger.  Prior to it's creation I checked the Unity Asset store to see if there was something I could buy instead (because I'm lazy like that), but there was nothing.  So, I started making a basic angle finder, but quickly found I wanted more than just a simple angle finder utility, and started using gizmos.

 

I wanted something that could compliment my workflow, something that wasn't going to get in the way, and somthing that would also be user friendly.  The AFGT is all of those.

The AFGT is incredibly simple to use, as the video below explains.  However, it is not a simplistic tool.  There are many features, and more are on the way, thanks to user requests.  The tool comes complete with a fully illustrated PDF readme file, that breaks down the usage of the AFGT in an easy-to-understand format.  The code is also fully commented for easy customization, if desired.
